Our mission

Make every store readable in the age of agents.

For two decades a store was something a person looked at, so brands spent on photography, copy, and design. That era is closing, because shoppers now ask an agent to find, compare, and recommend, and increasingly to buy, and those agents read structured data rather than the design a person sees. When an agent can read your catalog it can put your products into the answer, and when it cannot, the products quietly stop showing up. This is bigger than search, since the same catalog now feeds your on-store assistant, the recommendations an agent makes off your store, and the checkout that follows.

We started Atomz after auditing more than two thousand Shopify catalogs and finding the same thing under almost all of them. The products were good, but the data underneath was not structured, so no agent could read it. Enterprises fix this with data teams and seven-figure platforms, while independent brands cannot, and they are the ones this shift will hit hardest. Atomz gives every store on Shopify the same readable catalog, so an independent brand can be found and recommended on the same terms as a brand with a hundred engineers. The catalog is the API of commerce, and we are building that layer for everyone.

The stakes

We audited the catalog layer nobody was looking at.

78% of the stores we checked are invisible to AI. Not because the products are bad, but because the catalog is unstructured, so the agents that now drive discovery cannot read it. Search, the assistant, and off-site visibility all break on the same root cause. Fix the catalog once and every surface gets smarter together. That is the whole company.

How we build

An open standard, no lock-in.

We map every product to the Shopify Standard Product Taxonomy, the open structure agents and search engines already read, and write the attributes to your own metafields. The enrichment lives in your store, owned by you, readable by any tool that reads metafields.

We are not building a walled garden, only making your catalog speak the language the agentic web already understands, so you are never locked to us to stay findable.

Who builds it

Built by an operator, for operators.

Atomz is built by Ankit Minocha and the founding team. The writing, the playbooks, and the case studies live under The Agentic Operator, the editorial brand for Shopify operators who have to make the catalog work, not the people reading think-pieces about it.

We sell what we use. Every claim on this site is something the product does today, and the free audit is the proof we hand you before you spend a dollar.
